# tersedecompress-testdata

Test data used for unit tests in the [tersedecompress](https://github.com/openmainframeproject/tersedecompress) project. The data is kept in a separate repository to avoid making the tersdecompress repository too large.

This test data is based on the [Canterbury Corpus](https://corpus.canterbury.ac.nz/) data for evaluating lossless compression methods. It contains a variety of data including data designed to be problematic for compression algorithms.
